Mount Dreadclaw
Overview
Mount Dreadclaw is a large mountain located in the northwest corner of Namaria, and can only be reached via Dreadclaw Pass.
History & Current Role
Mt. Dreadclaw is now a desolate region of Namiria plagued by Shadow Spikes. Between this and the numerous Lizardmen and Infenus that inhabit its caves and ledges, few people dare to approach it, and fewer still return. Despite this, Kai and his party venture through it's caves in search of the source of the Shadow Spikes and the whereabouts of Queen Opala. Their answer comes in the form of Valencio the Assassin who, with the aid of two Giga Lardos, is transporting the Gauntlet of Nabonaga to the ruins at Dreadclaw's peak.
After defeating Emperor Bastorahl, Kai and party, including the reunited royal family head to the mansion atop the mountain in search of a way to send Opala and Farah (and Osira if she was brought along) back home. After investigating an odd wall near where the party first acquired the Gauntlets of Nabonaga, the discover a path leading to a Grand Gate linking Namaria to Thebes. After using the gate, however, they discover it only works in one direction, and that it is sealed from further use meaning that the only subsequent method of travel between Namaria and Thebes is via the Blue Crystals.
