Gin'Yen
Overview
Gin'Yen is a priest training in the healing arts, the son of Zhu'Yen, and a possible party member in The Legend of Queen Opala 2. At the start of LOQO2, he is studying to become a priest like his father in Namaria's Grand Aideen. During the course of the game, the Hero's visits Gin'Yen for information regarding the cloaked man who kidnapped Opala. If Zhu'Yen dies at the hands of Altum, Gin'Yen will be devastated to hear the news. He vows to assist in rescuing Opala from Osira and requests to join Kai's party.
Legend of Queen Opala 2
Gin'Yen is found by the Hero in a church inside of Grand Aideen. If he joins the party, Gin'Yen will start at level 10 as the party's Healer. As of The Legend of Queen Opala 2, Episode 1, his presence in the party is incompatible with Zhu'Yen; if Zhu'Yen does not die in the Hills of Sanctus, Gin'Yen feels no need for revenge and therefore does not leave his studies in Grand Aideen.
Post-Game he can be found in King Caldor 2nd's throne room, and can be added to fill the party.
Allowing Gin'Yen to join your party will also unlock the achievement "The Good Book."
Skills/Spells
Gin'Yen's skills are primarily curative oriented spells. As such, he is best as a support character, allowing his teammates to fight off any enemies while he heals. His spells are also available to use outside of battle, allowing him to cure party members without the use of items.

Equipment
Equipping the various party members with upgraded equipment allows the characters to survive for longer and deal more damage. Therefore, knowing the types of equipment each character can use is important. Each character also has an elemental theme, allowing elemental upgrades to their equipment. Below are the types that are compatible with Gin'Yen.
