Overview

This page will list the various resources that can be gathered in the Legend of Queen Opala Origin and where to find them. Gathered resources are special items found by exploring areas.

So far two categories exist: wild animals for hunting and metal deposits for mining.

Hunting

Wild animals can be found all over the Beldorian Empire, typically in forests or near paths, but sometimes in buildings as well. Catching any wild animal requires at least owning the Snare Trap, which can be purchased in certain shops. Some animals may require additional catching items, such as the Animal Whistle. The Animal Whistle is a Reward that can be purchased with Golden Tokens. Please note that wild animals often hide behind trees or other objects and can be difficult to see. Animals you haven't captured will respawn when you leave the zone, but once you capture an animal it will disappear permanently. Capturing animals will unlock Titles and may be the objective of some Quests.

Currently 30 animals total can be captured.

Forest Rabbit

Note: Only during day.

  • Nillia Woods - second zone when entering woods from the east, southeast area. Requires Animal Whistle.
  • Nillia Woods - third zone when entering from the east, northeast area.
  • Nillia Woods - zone with a fork going south, west area south of the path. Requires Animal Whistle.
  • Nillia Woods - take the southern fork to the zone that is an open area with water to the very south, southwest corner.
  • Immemorial Glade - Just Southwest of the crystal.

Grey Mouse

Radiant Butterfly

Note: Only at night.

  • Lake Fairlight - just a little southeast of the entrance flying near the water. Requires Animal Whistle.
  • Lake Fairlight - southwest of the entrance, on the little island in the middle of the lake. Requires Animal Whistle.
  • Lake Fairlight - on the way to the abandoned camp, flying around the narrow bridges that cut across the lake.
  • Lake Fairlight - the peninsula just east of the abandoned camp. Requires Animal Whistle.

Shadow Hare

  • Crimson Forest - from the entrance travel east to the fork in the path, then look south.
  • Crimson Forest - take the north fork in the road, just south of the two pools of water in the northeast area. Requires hunting gloves.
  • Crimson Forest - northern area of the zone before the Gigantus Golem. Requires hunting gloves.
  • Crimson Forest - north of the Neifu settlement, requires Animal Whistle

Wood Squirrel

Mining

Metal deposits are typically found in caves and can be mined for various metals. Mining deposits will unlock Titles. Metals can be used at blacksmith shops to forge weapons and armors. Mining requires owning a Pickaxe, which can be purchased at certain shops. Additional mining equipment is expected to improve the amount of metal that can be mined, but no mining upgrades are available as of LOQO Origin Episode 1. You can mine 26 deposits.
